The earth is the only planet in the universe that supports life and therefore resources provided by it are valuable to human life The environment can be is therefore a blanket that keeps life on the planet sage and sound. It plays a vital role in keeping living being and things that surround us healthy in . Likewise, it also maintains the ecological balance that will keep check of life on our planet earth. It provides us with the basic survival tools i.e. food, shelter, air, and fulfill all our human needs whether it is big or small. However, it is the activities caused by us that are perilous to our mother earth and is the e major reason for environmental degradation because most of the activities that we humans undertake are harmful towardsthe environment i. These activities cause degradation of our environment in the various forms viz. air, water and soil pollution, defective environmental policies, use of chemicals and smoke emitting from factories, greenhouse gases that produce global warming, and ozone depletion that further causes glaciers to melt, thus hampering our entire ecosystem and causing and ecological imbalance.
One must remember at the same time that environment’s contribution to life cannot be repaid once its recourses have fully perished and so we cannot be saved. Therefore, we must be more careful in treating the way we do as we are constantly damaging it and are and degrading it after everything the earth has done for us. Hence, the JaiHind Enviornment to support the cause of fighting and saving our mother earth and to improve environmental conditions has taken up various projects that are as follows:
- 1.Tree Plantation at Various Places - School, Temple Area, Funeral Places
- 2.Adopt Tree Scheme
- 3.Cleanliness Scheme (Swachata Abhiyan) - Ward Wise Programme of cleanliness
- 4.Saving of Water, Electricity and Money
